Dimitra Kokkinopoulou, piano

Dimitra Kokkinopoulou graduated from the Ionian University (2007-2012), Department of Music, majoring in Piano and she also holds a degree in Piano (2007) and Harmonization  (2006) from the National Conservatory. She then completed her Master of Musical Arts (Piano Performance, 2012-2014) at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA. In 2017 she completed her D.M.A. (Piano Performance) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA) on the topic: The impact of World War II on the artistic output of Germany, Soviet Union, and the United States: a study of piano works by Hand Pfitzner, Sergei Prokofiev, and Samuel Barber.

In the last 10 years he has been active in chamber music with strings, wind and percussion, as well as in collaborations with singers in works that cover the whole stylistic spectrum of classical music. He has given concerts in Greece, Germany, Portugal, Russia and America.

Since 2018, he has been working as an accompanist for singers with the mezzo-soprano Irini Tsirakidou, at the Municipal Conservatory of Korydallos. He is a member of Thesis Trio (Irini Tsirakidou – mezzo, Giorgos Kaloudis – cello, classical Cretan lyre), with which they present works by Greek composers, with concerts in Greece and Russia (Diaghilev Festival, Perm). She also collaborates with the theater group "Thea-tree" presenting musical children's performances and educational programs at the Theocharakis Foundation and in schools. Since 2021 she is a session pianist of the Intercultural Choir of the Educational Activities of the National Opera. From 2022 she is an Academic Scholar of the Ionian University (Department of Music) in piano accompaniment. She is a founding member of ARTience by_PhonoQuest (artience.com) dedicated to creating a communication channel between the science and art of voice.

Απόφοιτος του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου (2007-2012), Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών, στην κατεύθυνση Πιάνου και κάτοχος πτυχίου Πιάνου (2007) και Αρμονίας (2006) από το Εθνικό Ωδείο. Στη συνέχεια, ολοκλήρωσε το Master of Musical Arts (Piano Performance, 2012-2014) στο Bowling Green State University, Ohio, ΗΠΑ. Τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια δραστηριοποιείται έντονα στη μουσική δωματίου με έγχορδα, πνευστά και κρουστά, καθώς και σε συνεργασίες με τραγουδιστές σε έργα που καλύπτουν όλο το στυλιστικό φάσμα της κλασικής μουσικής. Έχει δώσει συναυλίες σε Ελλάδα, Γερμανία, Πορτογαλία, Ρωσία και Αμερική.

Από το 2018 συνεργάζεται ως συνοδός τραγουδιστών με την μεσόφωνο Ειρήνη Τσιρακίδου, στο Δημοτικό Ωδείο Κορυδαλλού. Είναι μέλος του Thesis Trio (Ειρήνη Τσιρακίδου – μεσόφωνος, Γιώργος Καλούδης – τσέλο, κλασική κρητική λύρα), με το οποίο παρουσιάζουν έργα Ελλήνων συνθετών, με συναυλίες σε Ελλάδα και Ρωσία (Diaghilev Festival, Perm). Ακόμη, συνεργάζεται με την θεατρική ομάδα “Thea-tree” παρουσιάζοντας μουσικές παιδικές παραστάσεις και εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα στο Ίδρυμα Θεοχαράκη και σε σχολεία. Από το 2021 είναι σύνοδος πιανίστα της Διαπολιτισμικής Χορωδίας των Εκπαιδευτικών δράσεων της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής. Από το 2022 είναι Ακαδημαϊκή Υπότροφος του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου (Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών) με αντικείμενο την πιανιστική συνοδεία. Είναι ιδρυτικό μέλος της ARTience by_PhonoQuest (artience.com) που ασχολείται με τη δημιουργία διαύλου επικοινωνίας μεταξύ της επιστήμης και της τέχνης της φωνής.
